Nicole & Jordon are engaged

I was so excited when Nicole told me she wanted to shoot their engagement photos at her family farm. I always love shooting new locations and this was really was the perfect setting. So funny story,  I mentioned we were on a farm, well there were a lot of cows on the farm. No big deal at first, they weren’t paying attention to us and we were pretty far away from them. Well then we ventured into the pasture and the rest is a blur…baby cow came really close to us, Jordon scared it away, a stampede of cows (and one horse) came running towards us, Nicole and I ran for the trees ready to start climbing, one cow came and stared us down, Jordon reassured us he would protect us. I know cows aren’t known as the most intimidating creatures but it was pretty scary being chased by such huge animals! Needless to say, the pasture photos were pretty much over after that. I love every photo I look of these two. They were a joy to work with and I am so looking forward to their June wedding!

Aaww! I love the pictures. I think the cows just wanted in some of the pics!

Lindsey & Ryan are engaged

So happy to have worked with the adorable Lindsey & Ryan on their engagement photos. I had a great time getting to know these two while exploring a beautiful location. Here are some of my favorite shots from the day.

Jennifer & Stephen are Engaged

This is basically engagement shoot perfection. Jenny & Stephen were so fun to photograph, they were relaxed and easy-going about the session which allows me to capture natural, sweet photos.  This session really got my creative juices flowing & re-energized me for a busy next few months. Enjoy some of my favorite shots from the day!

Brothers Family | Hugo is 3!

This is always one of my most-favorite sessions of the year. It is fun to watch Hugo grow and to hear about all the good things going on with this family each year. If you aren’t doing a yearly session with your kids, you need to. You don’t even have to use me, use anyone. But PLEASE just get photos done once a year. It is crazy how much they change from year-to-year. Here is a look back a Hugo at 1 & 2…and now the adorable Hugo at 3-years-old! Thanks Whitney for letting me share in a little part of your family tradition : )
