Kristen & Colby are married

On my drive down to Stillwater for Kristen and Colby’s wedding, I had a chance to spend some time with the Lord. I realized it is my hope that the photos I take will serve not just as documentation of the wedding day, but as an ebenezer (A pillar of remembrance. After a defeat of the Philistines, Samuel set up a stone to serve as a memorial of the help received from God).  When, not if…when marriage gets tough or seems defeated, I hope Kristen and Cobly and all the other couples I will be working with can look back at their wedding photos and remember the sweet, deep, unconditional love they have for each other.

Loved all the details and decorations of the wedding! It’s all in the details!! We had perfect weather all day…well until just after the ceremony when a giant storm rolled in to Stillwater. So, we moved the reception indoors. With the help of friends & family and an awesome attitude from the bride and groom, the party went on without a hitch! Had a hard time narrowing down the photos for the blog, Kristen and Colby are just so good lookin’ and in love it was impossible to take a bad photo!

Kristen’s Bridals

Now that Colby has seen his Bride, I get to share Kristen’s bridal photos! She is so beautiful and has pretty much the greatest personality ever. She is confident, kind, and funny. So happy that I got to capture such a sweet season of life for these two…wedding photos to come soon!

Cassondra & Hollis (Candi Coffman Wedding)

I love getting to second shoot with Candi Coffman. She is so great at what she does, it’s fun to watch and learn from an expert! For this wedding I headed down to the Luther, OK for a vineyard wedding.  As much as I love being the main photographer for a wedding,  I also really love being the second shooter…less stress and lots of detail shots : ) Here are just a few lot of my favorites from this wedding.

Erin you and Candi were awesome! My FAV pic is the one you took of my shoes! It looks like it should go in a Tom’s ad!! Thanks again, we hope you had a good time working with us even with the crazy weather :)

Happy 1st Birthday Ryan!

I’ve had so much fun getting to photograph baby Ryan. Every three months we’ve had a photo session to capture all the changes in his first year of life.  Jordan and Maggie are wonderful parents and their love for Ryan is unbelievable.  I love this family.

Above is Ryan at 1, 3, 6 and 9 months old. Below is Ryan at 1!

On Vacation Aug 1st -13th

I will be on vacation for the next two weeks!! My husband (Brian) and I are driving out to Lake Tahoe, California. It’s a 28 hour drive there and back…we bought the Chronicles of Narnia on CD,  it takes a solid 31 hours to listen to all 7 books?! Also downloaded some new music from itunes..anything from Deana Carter’s Strawberry Wine to Coldplay’s Every Teardrop is a Waterfall to Bone Thugs N Harmony’s Crossroads. I will have limited Internet access so if you’d like to book a photo session, e-mail me and I will get back to you as quickly as I can. Here are some photos from the summer I lived in Lake Tahoe…I think everyone should go to Tahoe. literally everyone.

Can’t get enough of these majestic sunsets.

Brian asked me to marry him two summers ago on my favorite beach. I said yes. And we kissed for the first time : )
