Brooke & Chris {after the wedding}

I was so happy when Brooke contacted me about an “after the wedding” session. You may be wondering what exactly that means. It is pretty much just like it sounds, it’s a session that is done days or weeks after the wedding date. These session give the newlyweds  lots of time to get all the portraits they need without the crazy, hurriedness of the wedding day. Brooke is honestly one of, if not THE most beautiful person I have ever seen. I mean really, she is movie star beautiful. It was so fun working with the Ketchum family! Here are a few of my favorite shots from the day…

Venue: Dresser Mansion

Brittani & Ladd are married

I can’t get over how beautiful this wedding was. Every detail of the day was classic and lovely. Brittani is too beautiful for words and did not disappoint on her wedding day. She looked stunning in her gown. It was a wonderful day and I’m so glad I got to be a part of it!

Ceremony: First Methodist Church       Reception: Silo Event Center

Cortney & Zach are married

Ah. It is my joy to photograph weddings like Cortney and Zach’s. The day was filled with friends, family, love and LOTS of adorable details! Cortney wins my award for the most easy-going bride of all time. At one point there was a dress predicament that would have sent most brides into total panic mode. But not Cortney. She handled the situation with absolute grace. The French Bouquet out-did themselves with Cortney’s bouquet, I’m not exaggerating when I say this was THE most beautiful bouquet I have ever seen. Zach & Cortney, it was a pleasure to capture your wedding day, enjoy the photos!

Stunning pictures of a spectacular couple capturing the beauty and emotion of Cortney and Zach’s special day.

The Myers in Miami

So I did a little bit of work on my recent vacation to Miami…I couldn’t pass up the chance to do a beach session with Hailey and Ryan! They brought a long their surf board and I’m so glad they did. Hailey and Ryan were such great sports to let me do some swimsuit shots : ) I mean come on…when you look that good and are on the beach, you just have to…and as they love to say in Miami “You Only Live Once!”

MS 150 contest!

It’s official. Brian and I have registered for the Mother Road Ride. This is a two-day bike ride from Tulsa to OKC. Sounds crazy, I know. We are pushing ourselves to fulfill a personal challenge and to help the National Multiple Sclerosis Society fund research.

I like to think that the love for cycling is my blood. My grandpa was an avid, unconventional cyclist. The MS 150 was the last official ride my grandpa, Murle Wager, participated in. While most other riders are wearing as much spandex as humanly possible, my grandpa liked to wear his navy blue slacks and his black dress shoes. Brian is going to be riding the exact same bike my grandpa road in the MS 150 so many years ago. We considered riding in navy blue slacks, but it’s just too hot and we like the padded bike shorts : )

The funds we raise fuel research aimed at treating and eventually curing MS; they also provide crucial services for people living with MS. I’m biking to help the National MS Society move forward toward a world without MS and making a difference in the lives of 400,000 Americans with multiple sclerosis. Please join me…not necessarily for the bike ride, but donating to the cause. My personal goal is to raise at least $300.00.
